SScholarship by Upsilon Pi Epsilon organization has been won by the Open Informatics course graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Ing. Antonín Novák. Awards is recieved annually by only thirty students from around the world.
Petr Zuna, professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, received the Gold Medal of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic. It is traditionally awarded at the International Engineering Fair in Brno.
The third annual Scientific Fair was held on 9th September at the Victory square in Prague 6. The favorite event was co-organized by Technical University in Prague and the Prague Institute of Chemical Technology together with the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry AS CR and the Science is fun society. This year the 16,000 visitors of all ages came to see the exhibits.
Representatives of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University and the Ministry of Health signed a Memorandum of long-term cooperation on September 2. Free of charge access to the information system that tracks purchase of medical equipment, devloped, by the staff. Is the first concrete step towards the fullfilment of the cooperation.
