The following year of the University rowing boats race took place at Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague on Friday, 8 June. The CTU team won the Primátorky competition for the sixth time in a row. The triumph is credited to the crew consisting of Jiří Kopáč, Jan Hájek, Jiří Vaněk, Milan Bruncvík, Vít Šantrůček, Martin Basl, Jakub Paroulek, Jan Zavadil and the helmsman Tereza Paroulková.

This year, a total of nine boats were set at the start of the men's race. The Palestry boat draged the most attention, crewed by the three-time Olympic medalist Ondřej Synek, together with Lukáš Helešic and Jakub Podrazil. They had chosen one of the biggest Czech water slalom stars Jiří Prskavec to be at the helm. Out of the eight years of the competition, this had been the seventh time that CTU team won the 1st place. The second place  The boat of the Charles University finished at the second place, ahead of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.

Two boats of Charles University had formed the lead trio in the women's race. Among them was the crew of the CLU with both Lenka Antošová and Kristýna Fleissnerová in the group. However, girls from Charles University turned out to crew the fastest boat on the kilometer-long track.

The University Rowing Boats competition is the most recent race within the Primatorky programme and, as the title suggests, it is a contest between crews from academia. From 2011 onwards, they act as a Friday fore-programme for the weekend main programme. They were originally intended for universities in Prague, but following the great interest by other Czech and foreign universities, they were opened to all crews. Compared to the Primatorky competition, they race is set on a half-mile course without the Vyšehrad turn.

The boats start at the Veslársky island; the finish is between the Railway bridge and Palacky bridge. The track runs along the Vltava river with its usual destination at Rašín's waterfront. The unique feature of this track is the tiny turn that the ships have to ride around near the Vyšehrad cliff that rises from the Vltava river.
