The Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies organized the third annual Albín Bráf Conference on 30 May, this time in an international format. The opportunity to present the results of their work and to publish in the peer-reviewed proceedings was also provided by the students; financial rewards for the best contributions were given to Henrik Wagner of TU Braunschweig, Alice Blažková from the CTU Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies, Tomáš Havel from the CTU Faculty of Transportation Technology and Erik Poláček from Silesian University.

Two international projects with an impact on the newly accredited bachelor's and master's study programs of the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies were presented at the conference. The study programme Current issues in Business from V4 Perspective is supported by the International Visegrad Fund and one of its outputs is a subject of the same name taught by foreign teachers in english, with 50 students that already graduated in the winter of 2018.

Five European schools are preparing a block of certified modules to teach logistics and supply chain management Under the Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships program titled Modern Logistics Learning. It will be included in the group of compulsory elective courses thought in English from the academic year 2019/20 in the program of Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies of the Czech Technical University in Prague and its graduates will become candidates for the prestigious professional certificate of the European Logistics Association.
