Digitisation represents a major opportunity for the Czech Republic, which could help it to become one of the most developed countries in the world. Traditionally, the international conference Digital Czechia helps to achieve this goal. This year for the ninth time.

Alongside the Czech "digital" elite, the conference will present foreign experts as well. Participants can look forward to a speech by the European Commissioner Dubravka Šuici, who will present the future of digitalization from the perspective of the European Commission! Miles Yu, a member of former US President Donald Trump's closest team of advisors, and Opher Brayer, an Israeli visionary and innovator in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as many other Czech and international guests, also spoke about digitalisation.

Among the discussants in the session Digitalization of education and connection with the labour market was also the Rector of CTU Vojtěch Petráček. The digitalization of education is transforming the approach to learning, which also has a positive impact on the labour market, where digital skills are increasingly in demand. As the rector recalled, the digitalization of teaching made great sense in covid, but he stressed the importance of personal contact during teaching.

Info about the conference, including videorecording, can be found at https://www.digitalni-cesko.eu/  (session on Digitalization of Education from 5:45:05)
