This afternoon, CTU in Prague representatives and the Korean Technical University KETI signed an extension of the Memorandum of Cooperation. The aim of this cooperation is to promote interest in research activities and in the exchange of human resources and knowledge between the two universities in the fields of advanced technologies, digital twins, energy optimization, testing of intelligent systems and robotics.

In practice, this should mean the mutual exchange of experts from both universities, their participation in the research activities of the other university, the organisation of conferences, technology seminars and workshops on various research topics or the mutual exchange of information on developments in the field of research.

On behalf of Czech Technical University in Prague, the Memorandum was signed by the Vice-Rector for Science, Creative Activities and Doctoral Studies Zbyněk Škvor, and on behalf of the Korean University KETI by its President Heedong Shin. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in the Czech Republic Youngki Hon was also present.

Vice-Rector Škvor commented on the signing, "KETI is a renowned partner from a country with which we already cooperate in many areas and share common values. I am pleased that we are finding new areas for mutual cooperation."
