Firstly, the President of AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s. Ing. Viktor Sotona, MBA, greeted everybody with an informal contribution about the heart of a mechanical and aeronautical engineer. Representatives of AERO Vodochody and CompoTech shared their experience in the development of the Aero L-39NG jet trainer and composite technologies for aerospace. And the same interest was aroused by the amazing presentation of aerobatic pilot Marek Hyka or Space Engineer Jan Lukacevic. The presentation of Spacemanic about their successful small satellite CubeSat was also motivating.
The presentation of student teams of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, CTU AeroLab and CTU Space Research, which achieve excellent results and even cooperate with ESA BIC Czech Republic, which was presented by Marie Němečková, also aroused great interest.
The Dean of the faculty Doc. M. Španiel came to greet the atandees during the lunch break. He wished the experts and students persistent desire and energy to conquer terrestrial and space goals. The event was evaluated by the attendees as very successful. They got a lot of interesting information and participated in discussion blocks. The successful examples reinforced their interest in aerospace technology and their motivation to succeed as much as possible in this field.
