This year's EAIE conference is the largest in its history with around 8,000 visitors from all over the world, mostly represented by European universities presenting under national agencies. In the case of the Czech Republic, this task was performed by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research and its Study in Czechia initiative. Participation in person at this conference contributes to the development of new strategic partnerships with universities outside the Czech Republic and to the strengthening of existing partnerships. This includes, of course, the exchange of students, academics and international scientific cooperation.
Last but not least, the conference is devoted to educating participating university and college staff in the field of international education through workshops, panel discussions and other formats and implementing new trends in the activities of international departments of universities.
In total, CTU has held meetings with more than fifty universities, public institutions or providers of marketing services for universities that are used to recruit international students.
