The next edition of the POSTER conference offered university students the chance to present their first research papers and establish professional contacts.

The international event took place on 11 May at the FEE CTU and a jury of experts from academia and industry awarded prizes in eight categories

"This year we evaluated a total of 49 entries," noted the event's main organizer, Dr. Libor Husník from the Department of Radio Engineering. The list of poster topics displayed during the event on the 4th floor of the FEE was varied. Students could present their research in informatics and cybernetics, management, natural sciences, power engineering, history of science, communications, electronics and instrumentation, and biomedical engineering. This time, the most significant number of papers, namely 12, were in the History of Science section, and ten in the Biomedical Engineering category.

"We hope to see slightly larger participation again in future years. We will try to do more promotion so that the information gets exactly where it should," said the chairman of the Management section, Professor Jaroslav Knápek, head of the Department of Economics, Management, and Humanities. This year the 27th edition of the conference took place.
Partners of the event are Rohde Schwarz, Taures, and Panasonic Industry.
