On Wednesday, May 3rd, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies of the Czech Technical University in Prague (MIAS - CTU) and the Center for Investment, Development and Innovation (CIRI).

On Wednesday, May 3rd, Prof. Vladimíra Dvořáková, director of MIAS, signed a collaboration  agreement  with the  Center for Investment, Development and Innovation (CIRI). Dr. Zita Kučerová, deputy director of  CIRI, represented the partner institution at the signing ceremony. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish collaboration in the area of drawing up concepts and strategies for regional development, and for research, development, innovation and sustainability in the public sector. Topics currently under discussion for collaboration are Environmental Social and Governance Reporting (ESG) and carbon footprints for communities. Signing this agreement was more than just a formal event. In conjunction, a work meeting was held, in which academic workers from the MIAS Institute of Public Administration and  Regional Studies (IRS), led by dr. Vladimíra Šilhánková, came together with staff members of CIRI to discuss specific forms and technical aspects of research to be carried out, and the development of socially responsible science for the benefit of the community.
