The agreement on cooperation in the field of nuclear research, development and education was signed by Jae Seon Cho, Ph.D., vice president of the Korean company FNC Technology and doc. Václav Čuba, Dean of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
FNC Technology focuses primarily on computational analyses for nuclear power plants, an area that the faculty has been involved in for a long time, and the cooperation will enable further development of research and educational activities in this field.
Apart from representatives of FNC Technology the meeting with the dean of the faculty doc. Václav Čuba and the Head of the Department of Nuclear Reactors Jan Rataj on Thursday 2 June 2022, representatives of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) and KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS) also took part. In the near future, a cooperation agreement with KHNP is expected to be concluded.
