After a two-year break, the 12th annual Kladno Majáles student festival was held on 21 April, organized by students of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of CTU for all students and the general public. During the afternoon, several bands took the stage, the most famous of which were The Silver Spoons and zakázanÝovoce. There was also an attractive accompanying programme for children and adults. A new feature was the Maypole weddings, which were a great success, perhaps thanks to the original rings from the 3D printer.

Majáles took place in the area of the former barracks, in front of the building of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of CTU. It was opened with a student parade march, which was attended by the Rector of CTU, doc. RNDr. Vojtěch Petráček, CSc.

The first band to perform was the young band Světy from Kladno, then the band Electrics with teachers from FBMI. Then two better known bands The Silver Spoons and zakázanÝovoce. Of the performing bands, visitors were probably most impressed by the Brass Avenue band with their original covers of world hits on brass instruments. The event was closed by the young student band SticX, featuring students from the FBMI CTU.

The traditional election of the Majáles king and queen also took place. This year hosted the TSC MOON and Be ME dance groups with scenic dances, children from Tuchlovice with zumba and alsos students from FBMI with hip hop.

Všichni účastníci Kladenského Majálesu, kterých bylo téměř tisíc, od účinkujících, přes široké spektrum návštěvníků, celých rodin s dětmi, až po studenty FBMI, si akci velmi chválili a po dlouhé době si užili pohodovou studentskou venkovní slavnost.

All participants of the Majáles in Kladno, reaching almost a thousand, counting the performers to the wide range of visitors, families with children to FBMI students, praised the event and after a long time enjoyed a relaxed student outdoor celebration.
