The lectures and evening performances by Color Force at the Centre for Advanced Applied Science (CAAS) Gala Assembly captivated and enthralled the audience. The program on Thursday November 4, 2021, shortly after 4 p.m. at the Archa Theatre was introduced by CAAS Director and Dean of the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of CTU Prof. Igor Jex, who himself prepared one lecture - Fractals and Quantum Information.

Before his speech, Prof. Marián Karel together with doc. Josef Šafařík from the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University presented their work. Afterwards, Prof. Tomáš Čechák from the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of CTU gave an interesting talk on the use of ionizing radiation in cultural heritage. The block of lectures was ended by Prof. Vladimír Soukenka, M. Arch. from the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU, who spoke about the dependence of the artistic representation of the world on the development of science and technology.

After a short break and refreshments, Prof. Igor Jex opened the evening with a performance of Color Force. This is a joint work of choreographer Veronika Švábová, system designer Jakub Hybler and lighting designer Tomáš Morávek, who drew inspiration from particle physicists within the PARTPHYS research programme.

Posters presenting the CAAS project and individual programs, which were exhibited in the Archa Theatre, can be seen during November in the building of the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of CTU in Prague (FNPE) on the first floor.
