The Czech Technical University in Prague has slightly strengthened its position in the group of 1000 universities in the latest edition of the World University Rankings for 2022, published by the British company Times Higher Education. Despite the increasing number of universities ranked. A total of 19 Czech universities appear in the rankings.

The ranking has been published by The Times Higher Education, a UK-based publication and education consultancy, since 2010 and is one of the three most respected global rankings of universities and higher education institutions. For this year, it ranked 2,112 universities from 111 countries.

CTU was ranked in the top half of the world's best institutions in this year's ranking. It is the strongest in the "International Outlook" category (ranking 57.3/100, i.e. among the 33% of ranked universities) and "Industry Income" (ranking 49.1/100, i.e. in the first quadrant of ranked universities). In three other indicators (each worth 30%), CTU improved slightly, namely in the category "Teaching".
