The French Ambassador Alexis Dutertre together with Nuclear Advisor Thierry Salmon visited the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of the CTU in Prague (FNSPE) on Tuesday 27 July. Among other things, the Ambassador experienced how to achieve and maintain the so-called critical state on a model of the school's nuclear reactor and toured the Golem tokamak and the newly built PlasmaLab.

The diplomatic visit was guided through the faculty together with the Dean Prof. Igor Jex, Assoc. Jan Mlynář and Jana Brotánková from the Department of Physics, Jan Rataj from the Department of Nuclear Reactors, and the secretary of the faculty Alena Králová. At the end of the meeting, the participants extensively discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education and scientific activities in the Dean's office.
