The Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering participated in the preparation of a week-long training course of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Czech Republic (MIC) called Mosaic. The course is intended primarily for employees of state and local government authorities who are involved in the preparation for the construction of a new nuclear power plant in the Czech Republic.

The system of training for the staff of state administration authorities who will be involved in the approval and evaluation processes of planning and construction procedures is divided into six blocks. The time allocation for each block corresponds to one working day.

In addition to the MIC and FJFI, the lectures and the preparation of background materials were attended by: Nuclear Veterans, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies of Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, State Office for Nuclear Safety, Ministry for Regional Development, Dukovany II Power Plant, ČEPS.
