CTU JOINED THE MAY CALL “BIKE TO WORK” - News service - Czech technical university in Prague

CTU employees and students took part in this year's nation-wide call, which took place from 1 to 31 May and motivated them to travel by bike, scooter, on foot or trot, under the company profile "CTU in Prague". For a whole month, teams of two to five employees and students recorded their common mileage, which they drove, ran or walked.

The best of CTU was a team called "cyborgs" from the Department of Cybernetics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU, whose members Martin Pecha, Miroslava Husáková, Jonáš Šerých, Denys Rozumnyi and Tomáš Jeníček recorded a total of 1121 km in May. The second place went to the team "Pohodáři2" with 1114 km and the third team "MRS" with 982 km, both teams again from the Department of Cybernetics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU.

A total of 58 employees and students fromCTU took part in the call, forming 15 teams and drove, ran and drove 8282 km together.

The top three teams will be rewarded with a gift package.

Thanks to their recorded routes from the applications, the participants of the call contributed to the development of the city and movement around it, which will influence the development of safe and comfortable (bicycle) transport.
