Accreditation allows graduates of the field to apply for this degree after two years of practice. For other interested parties, it takes up to ten years. Holders of MRICS are in great demand as employees in large real estate consulting companies, banks or large international projects.
Ing. Marek Devátý MRICS, started his professional career already during his bachelor's studies. During the construction of family houses in Lány near Prague, he was in charge of the complete process of preparation and construction, including communication with clients. Subsequently, he joined Ridera stavební a.s., where he worked on budgets for tenders for the general contractor for construction of apartment buildings for leading development companies in Prague.
Since 2017, he has worked as a project manager at the international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield, where he participated in the management of a large number of projects for foreign clients. In this company, he then led the largest expansion of co-working offices in Prague for a multinational client. In his work, he led a team of professionals from around the world and visited various projects in Amsterdam and London. After completing his master's degree, he just took the opportunity to obtain a membership degree from the international organization RICS. He defended and obtained it after successfully passing the final exam in November 2020.
He now funds his own construction consulting company, specializing in residential construction from the purchase of land through building financing to turnkey construction. This company is based on strong ethical foundations that correspond to the RICS policy.
