On 18 December, 69 new professors received their appointment decrees from the hands of Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Robert Plaga at the Carolinum. They were nominated for the highest academic degree by scientific and artistic councils of universities, and are appointed by the president. Five new professors will now work at CTU in Prague, namely at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture.
Doc. Jan Faigl from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering was appointed professor in the field of Computer Science and Informatics
Doc. Jiří Kupka and Doc. Michal Šourek from the Faculty of Civil Engineering were appointed professors in the field of Architecture and Building construction
Doc. Petr Vorlík from the Faculty of Architecture was appointed professor in the field of History of Architecture and Monument Care.
New professor in the field of Design and Process Engineering became doc. Josef Zicha from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
