As last year, when the competition was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU, students had about six hours to work out the given task. The second day was a defense, for which they had 15 minutes for presentation. Within the next ten minutes, students answered questions from jury members. She finally selected the best three teams for each category.
This year, compared to the past, a new competition category, Design Build, was set up, ie the preparation of the building including a simple architectural design. There, the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU had three representatives in the combined MUSTANGS & LIONS team, which was formed together with students from California Polytechnic State University. For this category, it was necessary to select a student architect in addition to the “Project Management and Engineering” students. The CTU was represented by Jakub Leško and Tadeáš Zahradník, who study the field of civil engineering and their team was supplemented by Václav Šimeček, dedicated to the field of architecture and civil engineering. The three students in the new category managed to get an excellent second place.
