The innovations in science, research and student activities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were included in exhibits in the fields of mechatronics, biomechanics, laser and additive technologies, aviation, air conditioning and systems for virtual commissioning of automation lines as well as virtual models for control and optimization of machining technologies. The electronic device for the detection of latent dactyloscopic traces and of course the student formula also attracted considerable attention.
Scientific Director of the CIIRC CTU prof. Vladimír Mařík gave a speech within the Digital Factory 2.0 conference. He focused primarily on the role of artificial intelligence in the factories of the future, the use of acquired data and the future of manufacturing.
