Two first places, one second, and a special award of The Director of the Institute of Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science, UPJŠ in Košice, was awarded by the students and students of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

The final round of competition in professional activities in physics at university, divided in five categories, took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the P. J. Šafárik University in Košice on 2 May and 3 May. In addition to the competitors, the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering was represented by doc. Jaroslav Bielčík and Zdeněk Hubáček from the Department of Physics as members of evaluation panels at the conference. At the same time, they were commissioned to organize the finals for next year's competition.

In the field of applied physics, Matěj Vaculčiak gained first place with his study on Simulation and Optimization of Cosmic Radiation Detection Systems. Anežka Kabátová also won first place for her work on Characterization of Semiconductor Detectors for Space Applications, which competed in the Earth Physics and Space field. At the same time, this work was awarded the Prize of the Director of the Institute of Physical Sciences PF UPJŠ in Košice. The second place in the field of Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics was then won by Valentina Raskin for Characterization of Highly Irradiated ALPIDE Silicon Sensors.
