The meeting was about the successful cooperation between the American universities and CTU so far, and their further development. However, the main topic was science, technology and engineering, especially the unique collaborative cooperation of CTU with GE Aviaton Czech, which takes place within the Center of Aerospace Research at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. This cooperation will lead to the development of the aviation industry in the Czech Republic and the consolidation of CTU's position in Industry 4.0.
As both the Czech and American economies are experiencing boom, one of the topics was more investment by American companies in the Czech Republic and vice versa.
In addition to the main activities of CTU, Rector Vojtěch Petráček mentioned the university kindergarten and primary school and the very popular summer university. The aim of these activities is to motivate the younger generation to pursue technical education.
