CTU students joined the #vyjdiven! nationwide student strike at Dejvice Campus on Thursday 15 March. The event was attended by around 900 students supported by their teachers. The aim of the event was to challenge public officials to defend constitutional and social customs and values.

The joint protest was organised by students of the Czech Technical University and the Institute of Chemical Technology, and a group of students of the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University which also has a building at the campus came to support them.

The Vice-Rector for Science, Creative Activities and Doctoral Studies at CTU prof. Zbyněk Škvor commented on the strike as follows: "There are things we have only when we take care of them. I'm glad you came because you make sure that we can come together whenever we want to and always decide ourselves about what we want and what to say."
