The Dean of the Chapter, P. ICLic Mgr. Ondrej Pávka met with representatives of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at the Metropolitan chapter of St. Vitus in Prague. The main point of the program was evaluation of the fulfillment of the cooperation agreement in the assessment of the technical condition of the Zikmund bell in the cathedral of St. Vítus, Wenceslass and Vojtech at the Prague Castle.
The participants of the meeting were acquainted with the current results of the monitoring of technical state of the bell, which was also attended by specialists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. They made a photogrammetric measurement of the bell. The results obtained are valuable materials for further assessment of the degree of bell damage.
