Mr. Robert Plaga, Minister of Education, Youth and Physical Training, handed over appointment decrees to twelve new rectors of public universities on 30 January. Doc. Vojtěch Petráček was appointed as the new Rector of CTU. The President of the Czech Republic appointed the new rectors on 29 January and requested the Minister passed the appointment decrees in Prague Karolinum. The rectors took their office on 1 February and their mandate will last for four years.
At its session on 25 October, the CTU Academic Senate elected Doc. Vojtěch Petráček of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering to become the new CTU Rector.
