The team that represented CTU at the Gaudeamus European Fair of Graduate and Lifelong Learning in Prague 2018 won the first place in the competition for the best exhibition at the fair. The event took place from 23 to 25 January at PVA Exhibition Grounds in Prague. The evaluation of the exhibitors this year was carried out by high school students themselves. CTU has been at the top of this competition since 2010.

The CTU's blue exposition was remarkable not only because of the activities at the stand, but also with the interesting lectures prepared by the representatives of the university, catching great interest of high school students and their teachers. Many visitors to the fair have tested and tried the interactive exhibits such as face detection, robots, flight simulator, or have learned about the electronics and bioinformatics projects of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Much appreciated was the functional model of a part of water channel designed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering for the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, or a variety of rescue activities of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, including a training ambulance, parked facing the main entrance to the fair.

This year's Gaudeamus Fair was attended by 213 exhibitors with 92 exhibitions. In addition to domestic schools, there were 94 foreign universities from 16 countries. During the 3 exhibition days, 11.000 prospective students from secondary schools visited the fair.
