On 2 October in the morning, Minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomír Zaorálek visited the Czech Institute of Computer Science, Robotics and Cybernetics of the Czech Technical University (CIIRC). The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Stanislav Štech also attended the visit.

The Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics is working closely with the Czech Government on the Industry 4.0 initiative. Together with CIIRC leadership and CTU leadership the Ministers discussed the changes in industrial production and services and its benefits to attracting interesting investment projects in the fields of education and science and research. During the visit, the participants were shown the industrial robotics laboratories, Testbed Industry 4.0, where CIIRC works closely with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as well as the AVRAR virtual reality lab.
