A team of eleven pre-selected doctoral students attended the "European Olympics" at Clermont Ferrand in the last week of June. Our athletes won the second place in the competition of fourteen university teams from five countries.

The CTU team won in futsal, handball and grass badminton disciplines. In the endurance triathlon, which consists of cycling, running and canoeing, students occupied the ninth place.

Following students contributed to the deserved success: Eva Bartonková, Lucie Dobiášová, Michal Skalický, Josef Novák and Karel Mikeš, doctoral students from Faculty of Civil Engineering, as well as Jakub Vít, Kamil Barbierik and Jan Duchoň, students of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Tereza Mlynářová from the Faculty of Transportation Technology, Iva Dvořáková from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Martin Lamrich from the Faculty of Engineering.
