The 7th annual Czech-Slovak student scientific conference on physics was held at Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering on 23 through 24 May. Within its framework, best bachelor’s and master's theses of students were announced. Total of 54 theses from eight universities had entered the competition. A collection of the best in physics by Czech and Slovak universities.
Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering won yet seven from a total of eighteen awards and dominated the Particle and nuclear physics category with confidence. Other awards had been won by students of the same faculty in the categories of Applied Physics, Condensed Matter Physics and Theoretical Physics.
