Rector of the Czech Technical University in Prague, prof. Petr Konvalinka, signed a memorandum on cooperation between the CTU and Secondary Technical School in Prague 1 Dušní street during his visit to this high school and Higher Professional School of building on 4 May.

During the visit, prof. Konvalinka attended meetings with students, inspected the premises of the institution and peeked into the lectures of some vocational subjects. Signing the memorandum has become another step towards expanding cooperation between the two organizations. Schools will cooperate on technical issues related to education of pupils and students, as well as on expanding the expertise of teachers, in accordance with the outline development plan of both VOŠS and SPŠS. CTU will also provide internships to high school students, practical labs and excursions to selected facilities.

Teachers from the school will be invited to training events organized by CTU, will be able to participate in educational courses and attend lifelong learning courses for teachers. Likewise, they will be presented with new achievements in technical disciplines and pedagogical sciences in the form of seminars, workshops and excursions.

The Secondary Technical School in Prague 1 can act as a cooperating school with CTU thanks to the signing of the memorandum. If the cooperation proves beneficial to both parties, this school will become our partner Secondary School.
