Medicine and nuclear physics? The work of a medical physicist combines these two worlds. High school students who are choosing which university they would like to continue their studies at the Medical Physicist For a Day event can find out. Jaderka is organising it in its main building (Břehová 7, Prague 1) on Wednesday 11 January 2023 at 10:00. Registration is required due to limited capacity.

The day-long event is being prepared by the staff of the Department of Dosimetry and Ionizing Radiation (KDAIZ) of Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering (FJFI) for the eighth year. The morning lecture part is followed by practical exercises in the afternoon and excursions to nuclear medicine, radiotherapy or radiodiagnostics workplaces directly in one of the Prague hospitals.

Further information and the registration form can be found on the website. There are only a few spots left, but those who can't get in will receive priority information about the next date.
