Dear students,
the epidemiological situation on the disctrict of Prague has been marked on the highest alert level.
As a result of this situation and following the directive of the Hygiene department of Prague, from 21. 9. 2020 all Prague CTU facilities for students of the bachelor and master programs and to the public will be closed. The operation of canteens that are not part of CTU buildings, will follow directives of the Hygienic departments of that part of Prague in which they are located.
The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering in Kladno and the branches of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering and the Faculty of Transportation Sciences in Děčín do not interrupt contact teaching. The operation is governed by the regulations of the hygienic stations of the Kladno and Děčín districts, by the Rector’s Order and the measures of the deans of these faculties. Remark for the students of FBE: the subject Physical Education (Tělesná výchova) in Prague 6, Pod Juliskou, is until further notice cancelled.
Dear students, although CTU prepared for the situation to teach again online, we all hoped that the situation would not develop this dramatically and that we could all welcome you in regular contact teaching. Instead, please expect to receive during this weekend messages from the teachers of the subjects where you are registered links to the online courses in Microsoft Teams (with a few exceptions in others softwares as used in respective faculties). The teaching through online programs will mostly follow the regular time schedule of contact teaching. We are sad that the current situation forces us to follow this path, we were looking forward to personally welcome you in the new study year.
The directive of the Hygienic department is in force until 31. 10. 2020. We all believe and hope that the situation will improve to such manner, that we can continue in November with regular education and see you in person.
