The subject of the competition workshop is a design of a new exposition stand for CTU at European fairs of post-secondary and lifelong education - Gaudeamus in Prague, Brno and Bratislava. The purpose of this competition is to come up with elegant, sophisticated and dignified solutions that are attractive to the target group of high school students. The resulting proposals will be an important basis for further discussion on the design of the new stand. The workshop is designed for students of bachelor and master programs of all faculties and parts of CTU in Prague. It is possible to enter the competition as an individual or as a team.
The workshop will take place at the Faculty of Architecture in Prague from Friday, 28 February to Sunday, 1 March, 2020. It is an ideal architectural workshop.
Programme:
Opening on Friday, 28 February, 2020 at 10.00 am in room no. 112/113 at the building
- summary of the assignment and conditions by the workshop organizer, any recent questions
- invited lecture of Ing. MgA. Lenka Bednářová, Ph.D at 11.00
- Gaudeamus (content, target group, concepts of participation, architectural procedures)
- space for work at FA - 10.00 - 22.00
Saturday 29. 2. 2020 space for work at FA - 8.00 - 20.00
- invited lecture by Ing. MgA. Lenka Bednářová, Ph.D., at 10.00
- Exhibition technology (concept, modularity, material and technical solutions, graphics, lighting)
- possibility of consultation with invited experts.
Sunday 1. 3. 2020 time for work at FA - 8.00 - 12.00
- till 12.00 - submission of proposals
- 14.00 - public presentation of the results (6 minutes per presentation + questions, discussion, max. 15 minutes) in room no. 112/113
Prizes and rewards associated with participation in the workshop:
First place - 10.000 CZK
Second place - 6.000 CZK
Third place - 4.000 CZK
