The aim of the collection is to give handicapped children toys or art supplies to make them happy under the christmas tree. All kinds of toys and art aids of all types are collected, preferably washable due to hypersalivation caused by the disability of some children. The collection runs from 4 to 15 December, after which toys are gathered from the collection points and then send over to the center on 18 December. Children will in turn play a short fairy tale, which they are already carefully rehearsing. Toys can be brought to collection baskets at Cafe Area, at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and at the CIIRC reception.
The Christmas Collection will also by supported by the ice-hockey match of Engineers Prague against UMB Banska Bystrica on 13 December. Revenue from the admission will go to the Children's Rehabilitation Center of Zvonek.
