In the week of 21-25 August, girls from the age of 14 to 19 will meet at the CTU to design, encode and create their own blog, site or computer game. For the third time, CTU in Prague has been organizing the Summer IT School with Czechitas company, trying to show the girls that IT is not just a boyish affair.

High school students from across the country will experience a full week of web, graphics and programming. The program is designed for complete beginners without prior experience with information technology. Besides professional program, refreshments will be prepared, and for those out-of-town, accommodation will be available at Sinkule's dormitory.

Most of the seminars and courses will take place in the classrooms of the Faculty of Information Technology of the Czech Technical University and a day with the legorobots at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering on Charles Square. In addition to teaching, girls can expect a lot of excursions. During the event, they will visit interesting laboratories at the CTU, and in addition some IT companies where they will have the opportunity to meet with the women who work in computer science.
