On 26 and 27 November, the Foxconn for schools event will be held in Pardubice. It is organized in cooperation with the Czech Technical University in Prague, University of Pardubice as well as with high schools like the Secondary Technical School of Electrical Engineering in Pardubice. Invited primary and secondary school students will be acquainted with the research and the study possibilities at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Foxconn company, which plans to invest billions of czech crowns in the Czech Republic, faces a shortage of technically skilled applicants. Therefore, in order to bring young people closer to technology, the company organizes the event on its premises in Pardubice. Joint presentation with the high schools and universities was established to support technical education. Besides factory tours, the company will have prepared interactive exhibitions for visitors and the candidates will be given the chance to test several applications of real-life assissting electronics.
