After President Petr Pavel decided to dismiss the university's rector, Vojtěch Petráček, at the suggestion of the CTU Academic Senate, it was on the Prime Minister Petr Fiala to sign the dismissal as well.
He has already done so, so the university is now headed by the vice-rector in charge of leading the university, Zbyněk Škvor.
