Traditionally, the Rector's Sports Day is held in mid-May. This year the weather was really favourable to the last bit, it did not rain, nor was it unbearably hot. Thus, nothing prevented sports outdoors or indoors and the participation of students and staff in the Institute of Physical Education and Sport exceeded 1000 athletes in various sports disciplines.
This year, CTU students and employees chose from twenty-two sports disciplines as part of the Rector's Day.The sports day also included a spectacular dragon boat competition, which concluded the year-long competition of faculty duels. The final friendly gathering at the CTU sports complex, the Malá Chuchle Boathouse, was the culmination of the entire sporting event.
