Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of CTU and the Regional Police Directorate of the Central Bohemia Region concluded a memorandum of mutual cooperation. Its aim is to support research, development and education in the field of security, with a focus on new technologies, crisis management, protection of soft targets and physical and psychological preparedness of the intervening forces.
The cooperation between the two institutions will include, for example, the sharing of expertise, the organisation of lectures, the exchange of experience, participation in integrated rescue system exercises and joint security research focused on new technologies to support intervention and training. Emphasis will be placed on the transfer of the results of the faculty's scientific work into the practice of the Police of the Czech Republic.
The Memorandum is of an outline nature. Specific projects and activities will be implemented through separate agreements, according to the actual needs and possibilities of both parties.
