The ESN (Erasmus Student Network) team, consisting mainly of Czech students and volunteers from CTU, organized an Orientation Week from 10 to 16 February 2025, during which we welcomed newly arrived foreign students who will study at our university this semester.

The initial information presentation held on Monday 10 February was a great start. Students who came and flew to Prague from different parts of the world learned everything important about their studies, university life and the opportunities that the ESN team is preparing for them. The coordinators of this introductory and most important week of the semester - Kateřina Kobrlová and Alžběta Smoleňová - presented not only the university, but also the planned student events, trips around the Czech Republic, sports activities and much more.

The next days the new students had the opportunity to get to know Prague in a fun and interactive way thanks to the Prague Discovery Game. During one day they discovered not only iconic monuments but also hidden corners of the capital. During the rest of the week and the weekend, the first trips were planned where students could explore the beauty of the Czech nature, local culture, traditional dishes and historical cities.

Thank you to all those who participated in organizing the induction week for new international students. Many thanks to the ESN members and volunteers and other representatives of CTU.  We look forward to more experiences together!
