
In accordance with the legacy of the Rector Emeritus, Professor Stanislav Hanzel, the Foundation's support is directed in particular towards the modernisation of studies and deepening their compatibility with studies at European technical universities, increasing student mobility and the internationalisation of studies. This year, nine CTU students were awarded the prize for outstanding results in their studies and for scientific, professional and other significant activities.
The Stanislav Hanzel Foundation was established in 1997 in honour of the first rector of CTU in Prague after November 1989, Prof. Ing. Stanislav Hanzel, CSc. Professor Hanzl served as Rector until his death in June 1996. The Fund receives financial resources in the form of grants, donations and contributions from cooperating organizations, companies, professional and professional associations and individuals, especially former students - graduates of the faculties of the CTU in Prague.
