The annual awards of the Employers' Club 2024 were presented at the Pyramida Hotel on Monday, 18 November. CTU in Prague was ranked silver in the category of School Recommended by Employers.
Employers from all over the Czech Republic vote in the competition. In a separate category, individual faculties are awarded, and this year three faculties were among the top ten: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (6th place), Faculty of Electrical Engineering (7th place) and Faculty of Civil Engineering (9th place). The award for the overall second place was received by the Chancellor of CTU Lucie Orgoníková.
One of the club's priorities is the development of education and the transfer of requirements from employer practice to different levels of education, from apprenticeships, through secondary schools to universities, and the promotion of interest in technical education from primary school.
