The €25,000 Hermann Neuhaus Prize is awarded to outstanding postdoctoral fellows and research group leaders conducting research with potential for application at the Max Planck Institute.
Dr. Icha Kubánková studies whether and how the physical properties of cells in human blood or tissue change during disease. She then wants to use the findings for diagnostic purposes. The research is carried out in close cooperation with Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Universitätsklinikum Erlangen within the newly established MPZPM research centre in Erlangen.
Among other things, Markéta was the first to receive the FBMI Alumni Awards.
Congratulations.
