The first day was devoted to preparations, loading of materials, and above all the monopost itself, so that the team could set off for Austria at noon. After an uneventful journey, they arrived at a campsite near the Red Bull Ring, where temporary facilities had been set up. Sunday was marked by the first technical checks at the campsite. Although there were some minor problems with the battery, the safety check of the monopost and the pilot's equipment was carried out without any problems. After an evening of packing up and preparing to set up facilities on the circuit itself, the team focused on the days ahead. On Monday morning, the team prepared the facilities at the circuit and electrical and mechanical acceptance awaited. The team fixed a few minor issues overnight, and then turned their attention to preparing for the static events. Tuesday morning involved completing the technical checks and then presenting the static disciplines to the judges. Furthermore, all the necessary tests, i.e. tilt test, rain test and brake test, were successfully completed, thus fulfilling all the requirements for participation in the dynamic disciplines. It should be noted that all the mentioned tests were successfully passed on the first attempt.
Wednesday morning started on the test track, where the final details of the car's setup were finalized. The drivers then successfully completed two of the four dynamic disciplines: acceleration and skid pad. After lunch, the team prepared for the autocross discipline, which both drivers completed before 18:00, qualifying the team for the main endurance discipline, which started on Thursday at 11:00 and was completed without any problems. However, some of the top teams have failed to do this and so completing the discipline itself is a great achievement!
The evening ceremony brought great news - car number E23 eForce Prague Formula won third place in the efficiency discipline and the team finished fifth overall out of 38 electric teams. This achievement is truly significant as this was the first year of a brand new concept car. Friday was then devoted to packing up camp and heading back to Prague where the team will prepare for the next competition, this time in the Czech Republic. The eForce Prague Formula team would like to thank everyone who supported them and look forward to coming to Most to support them.
