At the very end of the summer camp intended for successful solvers of the year-long correspondence mathematics competition, the little campers discovered that their arch enemy is not a dragon, but a princess. But they also learned many other things.
This is the fifteenth time that CTU has organised the Lion´s Den competition for primary schools across the country. The traditional summer camp again this year brought not only fun and sport, but also knowledge. For example, the children tried transcription of RNA in practice, attended lectures on genetic modifications, matenatic induction or Gaussian elimination methods, got into self-defence and crocheting and many other activities. There was also an evening scavenger game or a royal ball.
It was possible to follow the day by day progress of the camp on the fcb page Jáma lvová. We hope the children enjoyed it, and hopefully next year...
