Czech Republic will also be represented at the Olympiad by students from CTU. The FBMI is extremely proud of its student Vít Hlaváč, who achieved a fantastic success and qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Three years ago, Vit participated in the Tokyo Olympics, where he finished the 50 km race walk in Sapporo in 43rd place. This year in Paris, he will compete in the mixed relay with Eliška Martínková, a premiere event at the Olympics.

This is great news for the faculty, because at this year's Olympics, in addition to the student of the Biomedical Engineering doctoral program Vít Hlaváč, there is also a fresh graduate of FBMI Dominika Hronová (taekwondo), who will represent the Czech Republic. "Congratulations and we are extremely proud of the success of Dominika and Vit! Their determination and hard work are an inspiration for all of us," says Ida Skopalová from FBMI.

The Czech Republic will be represented by Antonie Galušková, a student of Aircraft Maintenance Technology at CTU Faculty of Transportation Sciences, and Anežka Paloudová, a recent graduate of CTU Faculty of Civil Engineering,
