The leadership of the Czech Technical University in Prague is shocked by the events at the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University, expresses its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the victims and its confidence that all who have suffered injuries will make a rapid recovery.
A type of event that we know, for example, from the USA has now taken place in the Czech Republic. It is our hope that no similar tragedy will be repeated on academic premises or elsewhere in the Czech Republic. We express our full support for and solidarity with all colleagues, students and staff of Charles University.
