CTU in Prague and CIIRC hosted a meeting of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) alumni on October 13-15. The main organizer was MIT Club Germany in cooperation with MIT Club Poland and MIT Club Austria, and ALUMNI CTU and its leader Petr Štěpán participated in the organization.

More than 30 distinguished guests from several countries attended the conference on "How can we live smarter and more sustainably with AI?". The Vice-Rector Zdeněk Škvor presented the research at CTU, while the President of MIT Germany Wolfgang Ungerer, former Director of UCEEB CTU Lukáš Ferkl, Director of TUM VentureLabs Philipp Gerbert, CEO and co-founder of Symanto and GenAIos Khaleeq Aziz and CEO and Managing Partner of Stealth AI Venture Studio Shahid Azid presented their contributions. Those present agreed that the use of AI will certainly impact all areas of industry, society and education and will be a great opportunity to improve our capabilities, productivity and efficiency. The weekend programme included a visit to the Industry 4.0 Testbed and a tour of Prague on Sunday, including Prague Castle and the Old Town. The meeting brought new ideas, experiences and knowledge, as well as new experiences, contacts and friendships between ALUMNI MIT members and their friends.
