In the 3D render category this year, the winner was Michal Kokeš from the Bachelor's programme Computer Graphics and Interaction at FEE CTU. 3D rendering is a graphic process of converting 3D models into 2D images on a computer. And the award-winning Kokeš was part of a team that created a beta version of Crimson Grounds during the winter semester as part of the Computer Games course. Kokeš noted that the game's theme is futuristic and he and his colleagues paid a lot of attention to the game's visuals.
Barbora Kyselová, who is studying Software Engineering at the Faculty of Information Technology of CTU, won the prize in the drawing category. "I've always enjoyed drawing. But since I started studying CTU, I've more or less drifted away from it," Kyselová then added, scoring points with her figure and portrait drawings. "For herself," however, she prefers to draw fantasy themes. The prize for graphic design goes to Tomáš Prajzler - a student of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne, who was at the FEL CTU as an intern.
The exhibition has not been held in the past three years, due to measures against the covid-19 pandemic. This year, people will see some of the works of students from previous years on the third floor of the faculty building on Charles Square in Prague.
