32 students from technical schools and robotics fans, 8 teams, 25 hours of continuous work, minimum sleep.

Such was the fifth edition of the popular Mechathon competition organised by Bosch at the beginning of March.

The task was to build and program an autonomous robot that can detect colour of a cube, consequently delivering it to a target location. All the teams deserve a lot of recognition, but only one of them could become the winner, as it happened, the team "Polenská crew" consisting of three students and one female high school student, namely students of the Secondary School PTA Jihlava. The expert jury appreciated especially the technical and structural design of the robot, the creative approach to solving the whole task, but also the great cooperation in the team.

The overall 3rd place belongs to the team "Cyborgs" composed of students of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University.

The special prize for creative solution was awarded to the team "Girls #404" consisting of students from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague in Prague and Brno University of Technology.

We thank our students for representing the faculty and congratulate them on the award!
